Terms of Use — NetCore Ops
These Terms of Use govern access to and use of NetCore Ops (the "Platform"), the network monitoring, service management, security and client portal platform operated by NetCore Solutions, headquartered at Harare Office, Harare, Zimbabwe and serving clients across Africa ("NetCore", "we", "us"). By signing in and ticking "I agree" you accept these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
1. Who may use the Platform
- Accounts are issued by NetCore or by your organisation's administrator. Each account is for one named person only.
- You may use the Platform only for your organisation's legitimate business with NetCore, and only within the access level you were given.
- Access ends when your organisation's agreement with NetCore ends, when your administrator removes you, or when NetCore suspends an account under these Terms.
2. Your account and sign-in
- Keep your password and multi-factor authentication (MFA) private. Never share them, write them down where others can see them, or let anyone else sign in as you.
- Tell NetCore at once at info@netcore.co.zw if you think your account has been used by someone else.
- You are responsible for everything done through your account until you tell us it may have been misused.
3. Acceptable use
You must not:
- try to reach information, devices or accounts you have not been given access to, including those of other NetCore clients;
- test, scan, probe or attack the Platform or any network through it, except as agreed in writing with NetCore;
- copy, download in bulk, sell, share or publish Platform content other than your own organisation's information;
- copy, modify, decompile, reverse-engineer, scrape or build a competing product from the Platform or its software, including the NetCore agent and site collector;
- upload malware, unlawful content, or information you have no right to share;
- interfere with monitoring, alerting, logging or security controls, or remove copyright and proprietary notices.
4. Remote access, changes and automation
Some features let NetCore engineers connect to, configure or run automated tasks on your systems. These are used only under your organisation's service agreement, are recorded in the audit log, and can be limited by your administrator. Approvals given through the Platform (for example change requests and service requests) are binding instructions to NetCore.
5. Monitoring of the Platform
Use of the Platform is logged for security, support and compliance, including sign-ins, IP addresses, browser details and the actions you take. By using the Platform you consent to this monitoring, as stated in the warning on the sign-in page.
6. Ownership and confidentiality
- The Platform, its software, designs, templates and documentation belong to NetCore Solutions and are protected by copyright and other laws. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it while your organisation's agreement is in force.
- Your organisation's data stays your organisation's. NetCore uses it only to deliver the services, as described in the Privacy Notice and your service agreement.
- Treat everything you see in the Platform about NetCore and about the services as confidential.
7. Availability
NetCore works to keep the Platform available and secure but does not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Service levels, support hours and remedies are set out in your organisation's service agreement, which prevails over these Terms where they differ.
8. Liability
To the extent the law allows, NetCore is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the Platform, and its total liability is limited as set out in your organisation's service agreement.
9. Suspension
NetCore may suspend or close an account, without notice where necessary, to protect the Platform, other clients or your organisation, or where these Terms are breached. Misuse may lead to disciplinary, civil or criminal action.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. The current version is always available at /terms. When we publish a new version you will be asked to accept it at your next sign-in.
11. Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Zimbabwe, and the courts of Zimbabwe have jurisdiction. This does not take away any rights you have under the mandatory laws of the country where you or your organisation are based.
